In my years in business and in leadership, I've found that the best way to stay 'on track' is to see where I am 'off track' and realign myself. Small, incremental adjustments just like autopilot on a plane.
The auto pilot on a plane has a direction locked in and it knows its on track by making sure it doesn't get off track for too long.
In our case, it's ok to have a slow day, or an average week, but if you're off track for a month, a year, or a decade… then your realignment has to bring you all the way back to the path before you can progress again.
Take a moment to check with yourself and your team and get your head out of the whirlwind of day to day life and business, then start asking better questions of yourself.
